Snacks and Light Meals

Say hello and sit down with our resident Siberian-Bengal big cats as Tiger Café whips up light snacks such as wedges, fish balls, samosas and chicken sausage. For an extended Western menu, stop by Captain Jack to sink your choppers into an assortment of juicy burgers from vegetarian to double cheese with beef. All orders are available in a set with crunchy fries and soft drink of choice to wash it all down. If soft drinks aren’t your thing, there are assorted juices, iced Milo and cold cans of beer to quench your thirst. If you’re looking for some great snacks to go, Zulu Walk Kiosk will keep you going with their servings of muffins, popcorn, waffles, sweet corn in a cup and various cold and hot beverages. Cool down the heat with some treats from Zumbala Fun Ice with their fantastic selection of delectable ice cream flavours like sweet corn, chocolate chip or good ‘ol fashioned creamy vanilla.
For those around the Surf Beach, check out the kebab cart for some delicious chicken or beef kebabs that are loaded with fresh vegetables and special homemade sauce. While there, coffee connoisseurs can get their daily perk from the Gloria Jean’s coffee cart or enjoy a cup of the sinful ice blended coffee flavoured with syrup of choice. Hang out at Zan-Zi Bar for snacks with a difference with their selection of falafels, enchiladas and onion rings. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the crusty banana fritters and crispy churros. Then sit back and enjoy the sun, surf and sand, at the only surf beach found in the heart of the city.

Local Flavours

Savour some local dishes at Penang Food Junction with the range of delicious noodles and fried rice. Relish the fried kueh teow with some belacan chicken wings on the side and finish off the meal with some tantalizing cendol or ice kacang. For something truly Malaysian try Siti Delight.

Start the meal off with some chicken or beef satay before indulging in the meat filled murtabaks, nasi briyani with chicken rendang as well as various traditional kuehs and cakes. At teatime, grab some all time favourites like your grandparents’ used to enjoy, only at Wang Café. Take a trip back in time with the selection of traditional toasts, teas and coffees to go with old-time charms like nasi lemak with chicken curry, mee rebus, Nyonya laksa or the Omega rich soft-boiled eggs for something light and healthy.
