Dancers & Singers (Multi- Talented)

Responsibilities

  • Dancing roles require strong technique, excellent movement ability and an outgoing personality.
  • Singers let your voice be heard at Sunway Lagoon! Our Singer/Dancers take center stage to entertain guests in our spectacular shows.

Auditions – Things to Know:

  • Appropriate dance attire to allow for movement is required.
  • Appropriate dance footwear is required.
  • A type out audition will apply for certain roles.
  • A dance combination will be taught to groups and then performed.
  • Prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo pop rock or blues song.
  • Please bring an instrumental CD/Minus one
  • Some roles may require a call-back.
  • Call-backs may take place the same date or could require attendance on a separate date.

Costumed Mascot / Characters

Responsibilities

  • To bring our most famous mascot /character to life while interacting with and entertaining our guests.

Auditions – Things to Know:

  • Appropriate audition attire to allow for movement is required.
  • A type out audition will apply and call-backs fitting is required for all roles.
  • A movement/dance combination call-backs will be required for select roles.
  • Height requirements vary from 3’6”-6’7” and are based on role.

Stunt Performers

Responsibilities

  • To amaze and astound our guests every day!

Auditions – Things to Know:

  • Appropriate audition attire to allow for movement is required.
  • A type out audition will apply for certain roles.
  • Audition will involve demonstrating a series of physical skills based on the role for which the audition is being conducted. Skills may include, but are not limited to: basic tumbling, stage combat, sword work and quarter staff.

Musicians

Responsibilities

  • To showcase instrumental talent to our guests in a variety of venues and shows.

Auditions – Things to Know:

  • Prepare a few songs for the auditions
  • Bring along your instruments for audition

Host / Emcee / Talents/ Marshall

Responsibilities

  • To perform in park broadcasting duties. Being a host / emcee for in house function and conducting game shows.
  • To participate in clown act and any other animation requirement.

Pool Attendant

Responsibilities:

  • To operate all slides and swimming pools as instructed and as set in operating procedures
  • To operate all slides with a view to maintaining the highest level of safety
  • To adhere to all standard operating procedures, carry out daily inspections to the checklist on rides assigned to
  • To ensure customers safety at all times and to report on any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
  • To provide first aid attention when necessary
  • To inform customers on ride procedures courteously
  • To attend to customers needs
  • To provide a pleasurable experience in the park by greeting, communicating in a polite manner and exercising good guest relations skills
  • Maintain cleanliness of the station and its surroundings
  • To assist in all maintenance work request from time to time
  • To report any defects concerning safety and breakdowns immediately

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary / Secondary School / SPM / ”O” Level qualification
  • Be able to work in varying weather conditions

Retail Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Your main responsibility is to actively promote our souvenirs displayed in the Retail outlets.
  • Other key duties include displaying stock for sale, price tagging, housekeeping, inventory control/stock taking and cashiering

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least SPM Certificate
  • Pleasant and friendly disposition, service oriented, pro-active, able to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia and English and must be able to work on weekends and public holidays. Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage. Part-timers are also required for school holidays, weekends and public holidays

Ride Attendant

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will include operate the many thrilling amusement rides and attractions in the Park within the set standard operations procedures ensuring safety of the rides.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least SPM Certificate
  • Pleasant and friendly disposition, service oriented, pro-active, able to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia and English and must be able to work on weekends and public holidays. Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage. Part-timers are also required for school holidays, weekends and public holidays

 

F&B Crew

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible in assisting in food preparation at the F&B outlets.
  • You will also be involved in cashiering and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least SPM Certificate with pleasant and friendly disposition, service oriented, pro-active
  • Able to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage
  • Full time and part-timers are also required for school holidays, weekends and public holidays.

Guest Service & Ticketing

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that both Main Entrances are well kept during Opening & Closing
  • To manage crowd control and take orders at queue lanes
  • Handles all guest related inquiries and complaints, takes necessary action steps which include escalation to higher level to obtain remedial conclusions as and when required
  • To have full knowledge of the Park activities & facilities after undergoing Induction Program and coaching by Supervisor
  • Able to communicate to guests in a friendly manner and in detail about the Park Services and facilities, activities and ongoing promotions
  • Responsible of the firm banding of wristbands and scanning for guests prior to them proceeding into the Park
  • Conduct bag checks for all incoming guests at entrances, ensuring that no outside Food & Beverage is to be brought into the Park
  • To manage Lost & Found counter
  • To ensure high compliance on all Standard of Operations set by Sunway Lagoon
  • Performs any other job related duties as requested by the Manager or Assistant Manager of the Department

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage
  • Must be able to work on shifts, Weekends and Public Holidays; to cater to business needs
  • Willing to work long hours to support business hours, as and when required
  • Able to handle substantial amount of cash and have confidence in selling activities
  • Able to work under minimal supervision

Membership Coordinator

Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma and/or Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related fields
  • Able to converse confidently in Bahasa Malaysia & English; ability to speak additional language or dialect would be an added advantage
  • Team player but able to work independently when required
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and is able to drive confidently
  • Must be able to travel or be prepared to travel consistently
  • Computer literate i.e MS Word, Excel & Power Point
